Mikä on Opinnäyterupeama?

Se on perjantaina alkava ja sunnuntaina päättyvä tehostettu ajankäyttö opinnäytteen kirjoittamiseen. Miksi? Koska ryhmäpaine jos jokin saa hyviä tuloksia aikaan! Ota siis oma läppäri mukaan, hankkiudu F-talon kerhohuoneelle, tapaa muut samassa tilanteessa iso-G:n tai pikku-K:n kanssa kamppailevat, aseta tavoitteesi viikonlopulle ja kerro ne muille. Sitten vain ryhdytään töihin! Sunnuntaina katsotaan, miten ilmoitettuihin tavoitteisiin on päästy.

Tällä kertaa rupeama pidetään pääosin F-talon kerhohuoneella. Kerhohuoneen lisäksi sekä lauantain että sunnuntain työskentelyä varten on varattu myös Rentukan ryhmätyötila. Myös Rentukan aulaa ja opiskelutilaa voi hyödyntää :)

Aikataulu viikonlopulle:

Pe 8.2. klo 18.00 - yhteinen aloitus kahvikupposen ääressä

Valmistaudu kertomaan lyhyesti: - Mistä teet opinnäytettä ja missä vaiheessa työtäsi olet? - Mikä on tavoitteesi viikonlopulle? Mieti jotain konkreettista, jonka toteutumisen voi todeta. (esim. sivumääriä tai luettuja artikkeleja) - Millaisissa asioissa toivot apua ja tukea? - Millaista apua ja tukea sinä voit antaa muille?

Perjantain ohjelma päättyy noin klo 21.00.

La 9.2. klo 8.45 alkaen - aamupalaa tarjolla klo 9.15 - töiden aloitus klo 13.00 - 1. tarkistuspiste Lounasta kun nälättää (omia eväitä tai esim. Rentukassa) klo 17.00 - 2. tarkistuspiste

Su 10.2. klo 8.45 alkaen - aamupala tarjolla klo 9.15 - töiden aloitus klo 13.00 - 3. tarkistuspiste Lounasta kun nälättää klo 17.00 - maaliviiva ja loppukahvit

Opinnäyterupeama aamupaloineen on osallistujille ilmainen. Ilmoittautuneista ensimmäiset 20 mahtuvat mukaan.

Mitä teen, jos haluan tulla mukaan? Ilmoittautumisaika on pe 1.2. klo 18 - to 7.2. klo 18. Muista kuitenkin, että vain 20 ensimmäistä mahtuu mukaan.

What is a Weekend Thesis Undertaking?

Weekend Thesis Undertaking (WTU for short) is a weekend dedicated to writing your thesis. Why? Because peer pressure works! So take your laptop with you, bring yourself to the F building in Kortepohja, meet others who are also battling with their Master?s or Bachelor?s thesis, set your goals for the weekend and share them with the others. Then, just get to work! On Sunday, we will check how well the goals have been reached.

This time, the WTU is organised mainly in the club room of the F building in Kortepohja. In addition to the club room, the group work room of Rentukka is reserved for us on both Saturday and Sunday. You can also utilise the lobby and the learning space in Rentukka :)

Schedule for the weekend:

Friday 8 February 18.00 - start with coffee

Prepare to shortly share with the others: - What is the topic of your thesis and at what stage you are in? - What is your goal for the weekend? Think of something concrete that you can achieve. (e.g. number of written pages or studied sources) - Are there any issues in which you would need help and support? - What kind of help and support can you offer for the others?

Friday?s programme ends at around 21.00.

Saturday 9 February starting at 8.45 - breakfast is served 9.15 - work begins 13.00 - 1st checkpoint Lunch when you feel hungry (bring your own lunch or eat in Rentukka) 17.00 - 2nd checkpoint

Sunday 10 February starting at 8.45 - with breakfast 9.15 - work begins 13.00 - 3rd checkpoint Lunch when you feel hungry (bring your own lunch or eat in Rentukka) 17.00 - the finish line and coffee

The Weekend Thesis Undertaking is free. There is room for the first twenty (20) people who sign up.

What do I do if I want to participate?

Sign up between Friday 1 February 6 pm and Thursday 7 February 6 pm. Remember that we only have slots for the first twenty people who sign up.

We will send an email to everyone who made it after the sign-up time has ended or all the slots have been filled. On Friday 8 February, arrive to the club room of the F building and you will receive all the information you need for the weekend.
