Hommat haltuun!- projektin toukokuinen Viikonloppu-rupeama

Mikä on Viikonloppu-rupeama?

Perjantaina alkava ja sunnuntaina päättyvä tehostettu ajankäyttö opinnäytteen kirjoittamiseen. Miksi? Koska ryhmäpaine jos jokin saa hyviä tuloksia aikaan! Ota siis oma läppäri mukaan, hankkiudu Kortepohjan R-talon kerhohuoneeseen, tapaa muut samassa tilanteessa iso-G:n tai pikku-K:n kanssa kamppailevat, aseta tavoitteesi viikonlopulle ja kerro se muille. Sitten vain ryhdytään töihin! Sunnuntaina katsotaan, miten julkilausuttuihin tavoitteisiin on päästy.

Aikataulu viikonlopulle: Pe 13.5. klo 18.00 - yhteinen aloitus kahvikupposen ääressä Valmistaudu kertomaan lyhyesti: - Mistä teet opinnäytettä ja missä vaiheessa työtäsi olet? - Mikä on tavoitteesi viikonlopulle? Mieti jotain konkreettista, jonka toteutumisen voi todeta. - Millaisissa asioissa toivot apua ja tukea? - Millaista apua ja tukea sinä voit antaa muille? Tutustumisen jälkeen voi joko aloittaa työskentelyn tai taltuttaa opinnäytepeikkoa yhdessä ajatuksia jakaen. Perjantain ohjelma päättyy noin klo 21.00

La 14.5. klo 8.45 alkaen - aamupalaa tarjolla klo 9.15 - töiden aloitus klo 13.00 - 1. tarkistuspiste Lounasta kun nälättää (omia eväitä tai tilataan yhdessä) klo 17.00 - 2. tarkistuspiste Kerhohuone on avoinna klo 22 asti, ja halutessaan tilaan saa jäädä työskentelemään itsenäisesti myös yhteisen ohjelman päätyttyä.

Su 15.5. klo 8.45 alkaen - aamupala tarjolla klo 9.15 - töiden aloitus klo 13.00 - 3. tarkistuspiste Lounasta kun nälättää (omia eväitä tai tilataan yhdessä) klo 17.00 - maaliviiva ja loppukahvit

Viikonloppu-rupeama aamupaloineen on osallistujille ilmainen. Ilmoittautuneista ensimmäiset 20 mahtuvat mukaan.

Mitä teen, jos haluan tulla mukaan? Ilmoittautumisaikaa on ma 2.5.?ma 9.5. Muista kuitenkin, että vain 20 ensimmäistä mahtuvat mukaan. Lähetä viesti otsikolla ?Viikonloppu-rupeama? osoitteeseen mamaalap at student.jyu.fi. Kerro osallistutko aamupalalle la ja su sekä mahdolliset ruokarajoitteet.

Ilmoittautumisajan (tai paikkojen umpeuduttua) saat tiedon, pääsitkö mukaan. Perjantaina 13.5. saavu Kortepohjan R-talolle ja kartan loppuviikolle saat sieltä.

What is a Weekend Thesis Undertaking? Weekend Thesis Undertaking (WTU for short) is weekend dedicated to

writing your thesis. Why? Because peer pressure works! So take your laptop with you, bring yourself to the common room in the R-building in Kortepohja, meet others who are also battling with their Master?s or Bachelor?s thesis, set a goal for the weekend and share it with the others. Then just get to work! On Sunday we will check how these goals are accomplished.

Schedule for the weekend: Friday May 13 18.00 o?clock- start with coffee Prepare to shortly share with the others: What is the topic of your thesis and at what stage you are in? What is your goal for the weekend? Think of something concrete that you

can achieve.

Are there any issues in which you would need help and support? What kind of help and support can you offer for the others? Friday?s program ends at around 21.00 o?clock.

After the meet-up you can either start working on your thesis or continue sharing your thoughts on the thesis writing process with others. Friday's schedule ends around 21.00 o'clock.

Saturday May 14 starting at 8.45 breakfast 9.15 work begins 13.00 1. check-point Lunch when you feel hungry (bring your own lunch or we can order in together) 17.00 2. check-point The common room is open until 22.00 o'clock and if you wish, you can keep working after the schedule is over.

The Weekend Thesis Undertaking is free. There is room for the first twenty (20) people who sign up. What do I do if I want to participate? Sign up starting from Monday May 2 to Monday May 9. Remember that there are slots available only for the first twenty people who sign up. Send an email with the subject ?Weekend Thesis Undertaking? to the address mamaalap at student.jyu.fi. Also tell if you are having breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, and if you have any allergies or other food restrictions. After the sign-up time has ended, or all the slots have been filled, you will receive information whether you made it. On Friday May 13 arrive at Kortepohja at the R-building and you will receive the map for the rest of the weekend from there.
